Last updated: July 2026. This notice explains how TapValet handles personal data on our marketing site and cloud platform.
TapValet is operated by Nexus Intellect, LLC. We provide cloud-based valet and parking management software to business operators (“tenants”). Each tenant operates their own branded subdomain for staff and customer interactions.
Depending on how you use TapValet, we may process: account data (business name, email, subdomain) when you sign up; staff accounts (name, email, role) created by tenant administrators; operational data (vehicle details, parking sessions, messages, payments) entered by tenants and their customers; contact form submissions on this marketing site; and technical logs required to operate a secure cloud service.
We process data to perform our contract with tenant customers, to comply with legal obligations, and — where applicable — based on legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform. Marketing contact submissions are processed to respond to your enquiry.
Marketing site (www): We use browser local storage to remember your cookie consent choice. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies on the marketing site at this time.
Operator & customer apps: Authenticated sessions use essential HTTP-only cookies so staff can stay signed in securely. Customer ticket and parking session links use tokenized URLs and do not require a customer account.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the banner on first visit. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block use of the site today because we only use essential technologies.
Tenant operational data is retained while the account is active and according to the tenant’s plan and archive settings. We apply tenant isolation, access controls, and audit logging for platform operations. Backups are taken to support reliability and recovery.
If GDPR applies to you, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Tenant customers should contact their venue operator first for customer parking data. Account holders and marketing enquiries may contact us via the Contact page.
Data may be processed in the region where our cloud infrastructure is hosted. We use appropriate safeguards where required by law.
When a venue sends operational SMS through TapValet (visit links, status updates, Extra Services, memberships, or feedback invites), those messages are delivered by our SMS carrier (currently Twilio). Opt-out is handled by the carrier, not by a TapValet app screen:
STOP — reply STOP to unsubscribe; you will receive a carrier confirmation and should not get further messages from that sender until you resubscribe.
START — reply START to resubscribe.
HELP — reply HELP for carrier help text.
Premium guest SMS from TapValet also include a short “Reply STOP to opt out” footer. During Twilio trial, an extra auto-reply such as “Configure your number’s SMS URL…” may appear when you text the number — that is carrier trial behavior until a public inbound webhook is configured; it is not a TapValet product chat bot.
We may update this notice as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
